| Mumbai: The Most Rocking City in the State. |
|
Mumbai the metro city is the capital of Maharashtra. It is the most happening and the most rocking city in the State. I would like to share with you some of my experiences with this Metro City. The best part of Mumbai you can say that it’s never too late. Its 24 hours rocking. The Local trains experience is amazing. Some times you feel angry seeing the crowd and the rush of people towards the train. But most of the people just love to travel by local trains as the traffic is high as compared to the local; trains rush. There are always fights in the ladies compartment. You just have to enjoy the scenario it’s a fun. Glamour, crowdy and contemporary. Mumbai is the glamorous world you can say that. These three words come in my mind when I think of Mumbai the busiest and happening city. Yes Mumbai is one city which I love from bottom of my heart, which ignites my enthusiasm the moment I enter this city. I love travelling, and one thing I always do before I head on my trips is buy travel insurance. It can be a bit annoying, after spending so much money on your plane ticket to have to spend even more, but I think it is worth it. There are lots of companies to chose from, so get quotes from a few and compare what they offer. Remember, the cheapest policies might not cover everything you want them to so read the fine print! If you are live in Australia, one travel insurance provider is HBF (but there are many to choose from). Pick whichever policy you think is best, so if you get sick or your flights are delayed you don’t need to worry. The crazy fast life depicts never say die attitude in each individual of this city. High population in youths makes Mumbai contemporary and a liberated thinking city. When I visit this city there are certain things which becomes mandatory for me viz: The food: You can never starve in Mumbai: the vada pav yeas vada pav that too opposite mithibai college, Near Jai Hind College, Hinduja College, everywhere vada pav oh my god my mouth is watering at present but yes I luv vada pav , its fantastic out there. People rush out there till 2 to 3 am in the night just for vada pav, surprising isin’t it but that’s the fact. Then Chat on the beaches uuuummmmmm that’s too too delicious as compared to having food in the hotels. Gola’s, Kulfi, Chana masala on beaches is tasty too. So that’s what I said you cannot starve in Mumbai you get some or the other thing to eat and that too in very reasonable rates. Another mandate thing is shopping, I think none of the visitor to Mumbai would resist. Out of which linking road, bandra is my hottest destination, all cheap and fashionable stuff in handy. Or I love to shop at irla, vileparle there too you can get good stuff. And if you got to buy branded stuff then I visit inorbit , malad, shoppers stop andheri. There are many places for shopping. Hira Nandani has a good collection too. You can go ahead and shop in the Malls too. Juhu beach is one place I never forget to visit. The cool breeze, a naariyal paani with my all good friends becomes the most precious time of my life. Nariman point the best place to hangout with my friends. We just love to sit at the evening feel the cold breeze and watch the crowd that is so good and eye catching. Worli Sea face is also a very good place to hangout with your friends. Ban Strand is also a place to visit. And last but not the least my spiritual mind never allows me to leave Mumbai without paying my darshan to siddhivinayak temple, Mahalaxmi Temple. God from which every mumbaikar fears, and I am no different. Haji Ali Dargah located in the islet of the coast near Worli. Lying as it does in the heart of the city; the Haji Ali Dargah is one of the most familiar landmarks of Mumbai. I have some good and some bad experiences with this city. Good is that I just love this city and I never get bore at any given point of time. Bad is that I met with a severe accident on Ban Strand beach. Just can say that I got a new life on my 22nd Birthday. Good and bad things are the two sides of the same coin. This is a brief description of my visiting Mumbai. Hope after reading this if you have never visited this place you pack your bags and look forward to visit it, and if you have visited frequently then feel nostalgic. |
